Kimi.ai has officially introduced Kimi K3.1 Pro, the first model in its new K3.1 series and its most capable 3T-class open-weight model to date. Featuring a massive 1-million-token context window, K3.1 Pro brings significant improvements to coding, 3D creation, and financial research. The model utilizes large-scale reinforcement learning (RL) across hundreds of downstream domains to achieve stable, predictable returns. In coding benchmarks like Terminal-Bench 4.0, K3.1 Pro achieved a 65.7% score, notably outperforming GPT-6 Astra. Its capabilities extend into spatial reasoning and 3D reconstruction via BenchCAD, where it approaches the performance of Claude Opus 5.5. The model even demonstrated the ability to build a complex human walking dynamics simulator through iterative refinement. Alongside the Pro version, Kimi.ai is releasing K3.1 Pro Highspeed, which provides 2-3× the speed for more responsive interactions. These models are available now on Kimi.ai, Kimi Work, Kimi Code, and the Kimi API, with full model weights set for release by November 4.
