Hamilton Original Cast Film Returns to Theaters for 10th Anniversary

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Broadway sensation *Hamilton*, the filmed performance featuring the original cast will hit theaters on September 5, 2025, in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. Shot live in 2016 at the Richard Rogers Theatre, the movie stars Lin‑Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jonathan Groff. This will be the first time the recording—originally released on Disney+ in 2020—will appear on the big screen. The theatrical version includes a special prologue, *“Reuniting the Revolution”*, with cast interviews and behind‑the‑scenes reflections. Special events include a free ticket lottery screening in New York’s Central Park on September 3, with proceeds benefiting the Public Theater. Fans and theatergoers are calling this a rare opportunity to relive the cultural phenomenon in cinemas.
