Will you be seeing the 2026 *Wuthering Heights* film in theaters?
Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi Star in Bold 2026 *Wuthering Heights* Adaptation
A bold new adaptation of *Wuthering Heights* is coming to theaters in February 2026, directed by Emerald Fennell and starring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. Described as a gothic, erotic psychological drama, the film promises a visually rich and emotionally intense reimagining of Emily Brontë’s classic novel. With a score by Anthony Willis and original music by Charli XCX, it blends period drama with a modern cinematic flair. Filmed in the Yorkshire Dales, the movie aims to capture the raw spirit of the moors and the destructive passion at the heart of the story. Set for a Valentine’s Day weekend release, it’s poised to generate major cultural buzz — especially given its bold style, high-profile cast, and polarizing creative direction.
