New 'Scope of Authority' Warbond Brings Precision Combat to Helldivers 2
The Ministry of Defense has officially announced the 'Scope of Authority' Premium Warbond, scheduled for release on October 20. This new addition to Helldivers 2 focuses on enhancing long-range and clandestine combat capabilities, offering a suite of specialized weaponry and gear designed for precision strikes. Players can look forward to the R-40 Sightliner bolt-action sniper rifle for balanced power, and the AMW-20 Apex, a colossal, backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle capable of devastating heavy armor. For those preferring energy or rapid-fire solutions, the LAS-44 Nova provides a high-precision thermal projectile, complemented by the P-44 Mist machine pistol for close-quarters versatility. The update also introduces the G-11 Caltrops for area denial and new armor sets, including the SS-33 Mimetic Marshal for ghillie-style stealth and the SS-15 Focal Point for adaptive camouflage. Whether you prefer sniping from the tree line or using advanced tech to blend into your surroundings, the Scope of Authority aims to provide new tactical layers to the ongoing fight against the Automatons.
