McDonald’s Brings Back McDonaldland Characters with Collectible Meal Tins
McDonald’s is launching the McDonaldland Meal on August 12, 2025, marking the return of its iconic McDonaldland characters for the first time in over 20 years. Customers can choose a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, and the colorful Mt. McDonaldland Shake, which combines berry flavors in a blue lava–pink cloud swirl. Each meal comes in one of six collectible tins featuring Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, Mayor McCheese, or a mystery design, with each tin containing themed postcards and stickers. McDonald’s is also partnering with Pacsun for McDonaldland apparel and Away for limited-edition travel accessories. The promotion follows the brand’s nostalgia marketing trend, building on the success of past limited-time releases like the Grimace Birthday Meal.
