*Lies of P* Headlines August 2025 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games
Sony’s PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for August 2025 offers a diverse mix of genres. The headline game is *Lies of P* (PS4 & PS5), a gothic Soulslike inspired by the Pinocchio fairy tale, praised for its dark atmosphere and challenging combat. Joining it is *DayZ* (PS4), a hardcore zombie survival MMO with player-driven chaos, and *My Hero One’s Justice 2* (PS4), a colorful anime-based 3D fighter. These games will be available from August 5 until early September. July’s lineup — *Diablo IV*, *The King of Fighters XV*, and *Jusant* — remains available until August 4, so subscribers should claim them soon. Sony is also celebrating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus with free avatar bundles featuring games like *Cyberpunk 2077*, *God of War Ragnarök*, and *Hogwarts Legacy*. Whether you prefer dark RPGs, intense survival, or anime action, August’s lineup offers something for every type of gamer.
