Which aspect of the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen link with Pokémon HOME update are you most excited to explore?
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Now Link with Pokémon HOME!
In a significant update for Nintendo Switch players, Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version can now officially link with Pokémon HOME. This new connection allows Trainers to bridge the gap between these classic titles and the wider Pokémon ecosystem. By utilizing this link, players can transfer Pokémon they have befriended in FireRed or LeafGreen directly into Pokémon HOME, enabling them to appear in other games in the series and participate in Pokémon Champions battles. However, players should be aware of certain restrictions: the transfer process is a one-way street, meaning Pokémon moved to Pokémon HOME cannot return to FireRed or LeafGreen, and Pokémon from other games cannot be moved into these specific titles. To celebrate this integration, the update also offers a special reward. Trainers who successfully complete the Pokédex in Pokémon FireRed or LeafGreen can receive the Mythical Pokémon Celebi as a gift within the mobile version of Pokémon HOME. This update provides a powerful new way to continue your adventures and manage your collection across multiple platforms.
