Mazda Unveils 2026 CX-5 With Bigger Size and Bold Tech Overhaul
Mazda has officially revealed the all-new 2026 CX-5, marking the third generation of its best-selling SUV. The redesign introduces a larger, more refined body, improved cargo space, and significantly more rear legroom. Under the hood, it retains a 2.5-liter SkyActiv-G engine with 187 horsepower and standard AWD, while global models gain a mild hybrid variant. A full hybrid is expected by 2027. Inside, the CX-5 receives a major tech upgrade with a 15.6-inch touchscreen, Google Built-In, and fewer physical buttons. The new model will launch in Europe by the end of 2025, with U.S. availability set for early to mid-2026. Mazda fans are especially eager to see how this updated model stacks up against premium rivals in the compact SUV space.
