Emmy Winner Timothy Busfield Faces Child Sexual Abuse Charges in New Mexico
Timothy Busfield, the Emmy-winning actor known for roles in *thirtysomething*, *The West Wing*, and *Field of Dreams*, is facing serious legal trouble. An arrest warrant has been issued in New Mexico charging him with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and child abuse. The allegations stem from incidents that reportedly occurred between 2022 and 2024 involving child actors on the set of the television series *The Cleaning Lady*. The investigation was triggered by a hospital doctor’s report and corroborated by parents of the minors involved. Busfield has yet to comment on the charges, and his legal team has not issued a statement. This development has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, raising new questions about on-set safety and accountability. The charges come as a significant fall from grace for an actor once celebrated for family-friendly and political drama roles.
