USA Beats Haiti to Sweep Gold Cup Group Stage
The U.S. Men’s National Team closed out the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage with a 2–1 win over Haiti, finishing a perfect 3–0 atop Group D. Malik Tillman continued his strong form with his third goal of the tournament, while Patrick Agyemang sealed the victory with a late strike in the 75th minute. Despite a defensive lapse that allowed Haiti to equalize early, the U.S. showed resilience and attacking depth heading into the knockout rounds. Goalkeeper Matt Freese’s costly mistake raised concerns, but overall the squad looks poised for a deep run. The team now prepares to face Costa Rica in the quarterfinals on June 29.
