Kyle Schwarber Re-Signs With Phillies in $150M Deal After MVP-Caliber Season
After a record-setting 2025 season, Kyle Schwarber has re-signed with the Philadelphia Phillies on a 5-year, $150 million contract. Schwarber led the National League with 56 home runs and 132 RBIs, and was runner-up for NL MVP. His return secures a critical power bat in the Phillies’ lineup and signals the team’s continued commitment to a championship run. The deal also reshapes the MLB offseason, taking one of the top free agents off the board. Fans and analysts alike are debating whether this move is enough to boost the Phillies’ World Series hopes, or if more roster upgrades are needed.
