Do you want HBO to greenlight Peacemaker Season 3, or should the character move on to other DCU projects?
James Gunn Says Peacemaker Season 3 Is Not in Development—Yet
With Season 2 of Peacemaker now concluded, fans are speculating whether HBO will move forward with a third season. James Gunn, the series creator and co-head of DC Studios, recently confirmed that there are currently no plans for Season 3. Instead, the Season 2 finale serves as a launchpad for wider DCU storylines, particularly through the new Checkmate organization and Peacemaker’s exile to the metahuman prison world, Salvation. Gunn hasn’t ruled out future installments but emphasized a shift in focus toward expanding the DC Universe. As the character’s arc continues across various DCU properties, some fans are calling for a traditional continuation, while others support the move to integrated storytelling across shows and films.
