Fable Reboot Set to Launch in Autumn 2026 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC
After more than a decade of silence, the beloved fantasy RPG franchise Fable is making a comeback. The new Fable reboot, developed by Playground Games, is scheduled to launch in autumn 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game promises a fully open-world experience set in Albion, where players can choose their moral path, build relationships, own property, and influence how the world responds to their actions. With its signature blend of magic, swordplay, humor, and choice-based storytelling, the reboot aims to capture the charm of the original series while modernizing its gameplay systems. This will be the first Fable title to release across both Xbox and PlayStation platforms. RPG fans are watching closely to see if this long-awaited return delivers on its high expectations.
