Are you excited for the new *Divinity* RPG, even if it’s not *Original Sin 3*?
Larian Studios Reveals New *Divinity* RPG at Game Awards 2025
At The Game Awards 2025, Larian Studios officially announced a new *Divinity* RPG — their largest project yet, set once again in the fantasy realm of Rivellon. Though many fans hoped for *Original Sin 3*, Larian has clarified that this new title will move the series in a different direction, with no continuation of the previous games’ storyline or systems confirmed. The cinematic reveal showcased darker themes and sweeping fantasy visuals but left gameplay details under wraps. Following the enormous success of *Baldur’s Gate 3*, expectations for Larian’s next RPG are sky-high. This announcement marks a bold step for the studio as it balances nostalgia with innovation.
